Terms
Effective 2026-09-02
The service
drawee is centralised Bring Your Own Key and Bring Your Own Subscription for AI inference, operated by an individual, not a company. A company integrates a standard OAuth 2.1 flow; its users enter their own provider credential on drawee's origin rather than in that company's page; drawee holds the credential and passes requests to the provider with it, so the company never takes custody. These terms have two halves — one for the company, one for the person whose credential it is — and both apply at once.
For tenants: accounts and organizations
Signing in is signing up: there is no separate registration step and no password, only an emailed link or a passkey. The first sign-in creates an organization, or accepts an invitation to one that already exists. Members hold roles within it, and an organization always keeps at least one owner. You are responsible for who you invite and for the client secrets and management API keys your organization holds.
For tenants: acceptable use
- One user's credential serves that user. Do not pool, share, resell or re-serve an end-user's API key or subscription to anyone else, and do not use a token issued for one person to serve another's traffic.
- Each provider's own terms apply. The credential is your user's relationship with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google, not yours. Do not ask drawee to carry traffic that provider forbids.
- Do not try to get credentials out of drawee. No probing, extracting or reconstructing credential material, and no attempt to reach a user who has not authorised your app.
- Production traffic needs the Scale plan. Sandbox exists to integrate against and is not for real users.
For tenants: billing
Live traffic bills per connected active user, per project, per calendar month. One person is one active user however their requests were served; users served by a ChatGPT subscription carry a second per-user charge alongside. Sandbox is free and never counted. Add-ons — SSO and SCIM — are bought without talking to anyone. The prices that apply are the ones shown in the console's billing page, in USD. Billing and payment run through Autumn and Stripe.
For tenants: suspension and ending
We may suspend or close an organization for non-payment or for a breach of the section above. Either way, ending a tenant relationship revokes that tenant's grants and nothing else: it never touches key material, because the credential belongs to the end-user and goes on working in every other app they allowed. You can close your own organization at any time.
For end-users: your credential stays yours
- You own it. Connecting an API key or a ChatGPT subscription lets one app make requests with it, in the scopes you approved on the consent screen, and nothing beyond them.
- You can cut off any app, at any time. From your account page on connect.drawee.dev, from
/recoverwith the credential itself, or from the link the confirmation screen left in your browser history — none of which go through the app you are cutting off. - We use it to make the requests you authorised and for nothing else. drawee passes those requests to the provider on your behalf. We do not store what you send or what comes back, so there is nothing held here for us to reuse.
- Your provider account is still your provider's. Their terms, their rate limits and their bill apply to the usage, and what you spend there lands on their invoice, not ours.
- No account is required. An email address is offered only after your credential works, and is always skippable.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that a provider will accept a given request, that a subscription will keep serving one, or that drawee will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for what an app you authorised does with the access you gave it, for a provider's decisions about your account, or for what a provider charges you. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Reach us at support@drawee.dev.
